The Approach
Conservative, Transparent, Patient-Centred
The CCD Plan reflects the philosophy of the practice: preventive care and early intervention are always preferable to complex remedial treatment. Keeping dentistry conservative in scope means better outcomes for patients, and the fee structure is designed to make that approach accessible to everyone.
All fees are based on Medical Aid Tariff rates. There are no private rate mark-ups applied on top of scheme rates, and no co-payments are levied on medical aid patients. What your scheme covers is what you pay.

How Fees Work at Cosmodent
Medical Aid Patients
The practice is contracted to all South African medical schemes. Only the Medical Aid Tariff rate applies. Claims are submitted electronically on your behalf at the time of treatment. You leave the practice with no balance to settle, and no account is raised against you beyond what your scheme covers.
Medical Aid with Depleted Savings
If your medical savings account is depleted before year end, payment terms can be arranged to spread the outstanding balance. Necessary treatment is never deferred simply because a savings account has run out partway through the year.
Private Patients
For patients without medical aid, structured payment terms are available over 3, 6, 12, or 24 months. These are arranged directly with the practice administration team and are subject to standard terms and conditions. Credit and debit card facilities are available in-practice.
In-Practice Payment Facilities
The practice accepts all major credit and debit cards. Electronic fund transfers are also accommodated. Account payment terms for private patients are available on application. Full terms and conditions are provided at the time of arrangement.
Partner Payment Option

Cosmodent is a registered MediWallet partner practice. MediWallet allows patients to pay for healthcare costs over time, even when medical aid savings have been depleted or no medical aid is in place.
